I love creating custom pieces for clients! Recently I was contacted by a YouTube friend, Diana from Garden Love. And she wanted to create custom printable art for each of her daughters that happened to be named Lily, Violet and Jasmine.

Hi Friends! I’m so happy to share a surprise announcement with you about design project I created for Mountain Crest Gardens.
The Winnie the Pooh series of books has some of the most heart warming quotes you will ever find. A.A. Milne gave all these characters wisdom and love that has been shared with millions of children. One of my favorite quotes is Christopher Robin telling Winnie the Pooh how brave, strong and smart he is and that they would always be together.
“She believe she could, so she did”, is one of my favorite inspirational phrases. It simply tells the story of a girl or woman’s determination to achieve or overcome something and then going ahead and doing it. I had created a couple of similar pieces last year that highlighted this phrase and they’ve always been popular.
Happy Valentine’s Day my friends! I hope you’re spending it with the ones you love and love you back. Today I’m sharing over on The Crafter’s Workshop blog a commission canvas I made this week for a very special little girl named Violeta that happens to love pink and purple!
Is it too early to start thinking about Summer? Living in Phoenix I really don’t want to think about Summer, but this Summer Sun Girl canvas is an exception. She is the last in a seasonal series for a very special client. The other seasons have already found their way home and you can take a look at each of them here.
It’s been a particularly cold and wet Winter here in Phoenix this year. Which is actually a welcomed change for me. I’ve been thinking of how much this rain will help my garden when it starts to bloom in the Spring. So, the timing is perfect for me to finish up my next commissioned piece in a series of Seasons. This Spring is Blooming Girl will be on her way to her new home soon, but let’s take a look at her creation…
The seasons are changing from Fall to Winter soon and I’m continuing my series of original canvases with this Winter Frost Girl Canvas. The Autumn Hues Girl found her home quickly after being finished and is now happily living in Tennessee. The collector loved her so much that she commissioned me to create a seasonal series of the same size and theme.
I often ask my daughter her opinion of my works in progress. She’s a teenager, so sometimes her enthusiasm can be lacking and she would rather check her phone than come into my studio to look at what I’m working on. But, she had a sensational reaction to my Autumn Hues Girl and asked me if I could create a canvas for her, but showcasing an Orca Whale. I thought it would be a whale of a canvas (pun totally intended!).
Introducing my Autumn Hues Girl original canvas! Lately my mind has been on the colors of Autumn and the warm hues that the season brings. This original canvas was created to try and capture them and still have some whimsy with a girl peeking through the warm hues.
