This floral acrylics collection was inspired by two of my favorite historic artists, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. They each had a love of flowers and it showed in their work.
The Winnie the Pooh series of books has some of the most heart warming quotes you will ever find. A.A. Milne gave all these characters wisdom and love that has been shared with millions of children. One of my favorite quotes is Christopher Robin telling Winnie the Pooh how brave, strong and smart he is and that they would always be together.
“She believe she could, so she did”, is one of my favorite inspirational phrases. It simply tells the story of a girl or woman’s determination to achieve or overcome something and then going ahead and doing it. I had created a couple of similar pieces last year that highlighted this phrase and they’ve always been popular.
Spring time always gets me thinking of Paris and all the vibrant colors that bloom. So I decided to create a mixed media canvas showcasing the colors but also my love for script and letters. This was a perfect opportunity to use some of my stencils from the Winter 2016 collection from The Crafter’s Workshop.
e.e. cummings wrote one of my most favorite poems, i carry your heart with me. It’s such a sweet and simple verse, but yet so powerful. I tried to capture that feeling in this canvas.
Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorite characters and the words that Christopher Robin said to him is probably my favorite quote. You are braver than you believe, Stronger than you seem and Smarter than you think. Such an inspiring phrase!
The seasons are changing from Fall to Winter soon and I’m continuing my series of original canvases with this Winter Frost Girl Canvas. The Autumn Hues Girl found her home quickly after being finished and is now happily living in Tennessee. The collector loved her so much that she commissioned me to create a seasonal series of the same size and theme.
Hi friends! I hope you’re enjoying your Fall and getting ready for the Holidays. But, I’ve got a little bit different theme tutorial for you today to change things up a bit. I’ve created this Vintage Hearts canvas that can be created as a card or canvas and given as a gift.
November is one of my most favorite months! The crispness in the air, the colors of nature at full peak, and the anticipation of a harvest meal on Thanksgiving. But, today I am grateful for the small things in my life.
