Making mixed media tags is one of my favorite art forms. When I first saw this Love is Complicated stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop I knew I wanted to use it in a tag. Because, we all know that love can be very complicated! I really enjoyed making this for The Crafter’s Workshop Design Team.

Halloween Hauntings Tag – The Crafter’s Workshop
Halloween is upon us and today I’m creating a Halloween hauntings tag for The Crafter’s Workshop Design Team. My kids are grown now so I don’t go trick or treating anymore. But, now I enjoy creating art for this holiday! This tag is a tribute to Edgar Allen Poe’s poem, The Raven, that only knows to say the words “never more”.
Tags as Bookmarkers with The Crafter’s Workshop Stencils
This week I received some really “Happy Mail” from The Crafter’s Workshop, their new line of stencils for Summer 2015! Talk about excitement! After sorting through all the goodies, I decided to make a tag that I will be gifting as a bookmarker to a friend that is an avid reader of romance novels.
Create Tag for The Crafter’s Workshop
Happy day friends! I’m so glad to be sharing today at The Crafter’s Workshop blog!
I created a wonderful little tag called “Create”. It’s something that I try to do everyday, even if it’s in the smallest of ways. Please hop on over to their blog and see the details.
But, remember to come back here and visit with me often. I’m always up to something!
Blessings,

Stencil Bump Technique Tag
Have you heard of the stencil bump technique? It’s not the 1970’s dance that was so popular, but it is a great way to add depth and dimension to your artwork using just about any stencil. Today I’m sharing on The Crafter’s Workshop blog how I created this wonderful tag.
This is a great tag to use a gift tag for a graduate, birthday or confirmation. They can keep it then to use as a book marker.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy technique. Let me know if you give it a try and how you liked it. Remember to check back often for more creative inspiration.
Blessings,
Steam Punk Father’s Day Tag
Today I’m sharing over at the Bella Crafts Publishing blog and I’m giving you a fun and easy tutorial! Father’s Day is just around the corner and I’m sure you’re already thinking and preparing for his gift. But have you thought about the tag? I love giving tags along with my presents, many times in place of a card. These tags can be used by the recipient as book markers, art to put on a shelf or hang on a board.
Pop on over the Bella Crafts Publishing and check out my easy tutorial for this Steam Punk tag!

Steam Punk Mixed Media Tags
If you’ve been following me for a little while, you know that I rarely create art that is Steam Punk in design. It’s not that I don’t like it, I think it’s very cool. But, I’ve never created a lot of it. So, this week I decided to change that and use some of Andy Skinner’s stencils to create some Steam Punk inspired tags.
Paris Mixed Media Tags
Spring time always brings Paris to my mind. This week I’ve created some Paris inspired mixed media tags with DecoArt Media Line. But, I wanted to use some colors that are not necessarily Spring colors.
Spray Ink Tags
Spring time seems to have arrived for parts of the country, definitely here in Arizona! And it’s inspired me to create some spray ink tags with some bright colors using some of my Ranger Spray Inks.
