I have been wanting to complete an online course for some time now. A course that would cover all of the basic skills a new or beginner plant parent would need to be successful with their plant care. This month I finally completed it and it’s available to you now.
Here is my sample art journal page I delivered today to CraftFusion in Chandler, AZ. This is what we will be creating in my next workshop of Art Journaling 101. It’s going to be bringing together all of the techniques, mono prints and lessons we learned in the previous workshops.
If you’re local in the Metro Phoenix area and would like to join in the fun, don’t worry about not having taken the other workshops. I will walk you through all the steps and even have extra mono prints I created on my Gelli Arts® plate in the last workshop.
So, contact Charmaine to reserve your spot before they’re all taken!
Last week I taught my first art journaling workshop at Craftfusion in Chandler, AZ. I was so nervous at first because this was my first art class, but I soon found out that I had no need to worry. What a wonderful group of ladies! They were so attentive, kind, supportive and had a real yearning to learn new techniques.
I’m so happy to share with you some exciting news! I will start teaching monthly workshops at Craftfusion shop in Chandler, AZ starting February 27th. My first series will be Art Journaling 101, teaching backgrounds, collaging, stenciling and other journaling techniques. It was a wonderful surprise when I received an email from Charmaine, the owner, and she wanted to meet with me about teaching an Art Journaling workshop. It wasn’t on my goal list, but was quickly added.
Today I’m doing a quick post and sharing with you a collage art journal page I created this morning. It’s a page that I will use as an example in an art journaling workshop series I’ll be teaching starting February 2015. I’m so incredibly excited about this and already deep in preparation for this workshop.
The local shop I’ll be teaching at is Craft Fusion in Chandler, Az. It’s a wonderful craft and art shop that offers a wonderful assortment of mixed media supplies and workshops. Stay tuned for more information on dates and times. The best way to make sure you don’t miss any information is signing up for my newsletter, here.
Here in Phoenix it’s already in the 90’s and it’s only April! So when the heat sets in I start thinking of hibernating from the heat, creating new work for the upcoming Fall show season and learning new techniques. This year I’m taking advantage of some wonderful classes given by some incredible artist.
