Moving into our new home here in Central Florida has provided me with the opportunity to set up my new coffee bar and breakfast nook. I’ve always wanted the space to do both and incorporate all of the things I love.
In the breakfast nook area, I have my little table. The area isn’t very big so it’s the perfect size for a cozy nook. On it I have an enamel tiered tray from Hobby Lobby. I’ve been wanting one for a while and this is one I can decorate throughout the seasons. Did you know that their are “tiered tray decorating kits” you can buy on Etsy? I had no idea.
Right now I have some Summer and patriotic decor on it. I got some Pioneer Woman salt and pepper shakers from Walmart. It also comes with a creamer and sugar bowl. To add to my salt and pepper shaker collection, I also got the little red truck and trailer from Hobby Lobby.
On the counter I share it with my son-in-law, the other coffee drinker in the house. He likes using his keurig, but I like the old-school Mr. Coffee pot. I did get him a pod holder for easy access.
One of the things I love about this house is that there is cabinet crown molding and a space above the cabinets to display items. That’s one of my favorite methods of displaying my collectibles.
This is just a little area of our home, but it’s one of my favorite places. It’s a place to start the day with a good cup of coffee, surrounded by things I love. Stay tuned for more posts soon as I decorate and organize our new home.
