Wedding season is upon us and so much planning can go into bridal showers and weddings. Do it yourself (DIY) is the most cost effective way to do these events. I’m going to be sharing with you tutorials on how to create DIY Wedding Succulents for boutonnieres, corsages and head pieces.
The succulent cuttings I’m using are from Mountain Crest Gardens and are currently on sale. They come in a variety but you can certainly order a selection of specific plants. The cutting sizes are perfect for these projects. You don’t want too large of a rosette because then the arrangement will be too heavy and look awkward.
The supplies I used…
- Various succulent cuttings
- Foliage, flowers from bushes for layering
- 22 gauge floral wire
- Floral tape
- Wire cutters
- Scissors
- lace or satin ribbon
The first project is creating a boutonniere and corsage. You can watch the video below with all the steps.
Boho-style weddings are very popular right now and these succulent headpieces are the perfect addition.
Here is the video tutorial for these bridal hair accessories.
Stay tuned friends for upcoming tutorials on succulent bouquets, favors, and centerpieces. Thanks so much for visiting and for your continued support!
Blessings,
