How to Drill a Hole in a Ceramic Pot

I love to go thrifting on a weekly basis and I’m always on the lookout of unique pots or containers to  use in my container gardening.  So many jars or pots do not have a hole for drainage, but that doesn’t stop me from getting them.

This is so much easier than you think!  You will need a special drill bit called Diamond Drill bit.

I got mine through Amazon, along with a cordless drill.

I did create a video showing how I drilled drainage holes into these two thrift store finds.  I love how they look with succulents in them.

So the next time you see a beautiful ceramic pot, don’t be afraid of no drainage hole.  Simply get your drill and bits out and start drilling!

I hope this inspires you to plant something beautiful today!

Blessings,
