This past weekend I visited a flea market held at one of my favorite shops, Merchant Square, in Chandler, AZ. This store has over 200 merchants selling their vintage wares and I have always found the most unique treasures.
I was looking for a few things specifically, but I definitely remained open to any surprises that I may find. This little piggy of blue and white dutch ware was irresistible and I think I may have a farm theme going.
I’m always on the lookout for unique milk glass items and I was lucky to find these two cuties! They’re very small and detailed creamer cups that are a perfect addition to my collection.
This blue and white candy dish has a wonderful filigree pattern. I don’t think it’s very old, but I love the pattern so much, I couldn’t resist it.
I’ve added some of my other pieces for a blue and white display.
To complete the look of my dresser, I added this wonderful antique Tiffany style lamp from Parrot Uncle. It is so well made that it looks very much like an actual Tiffany lamp for a fraction of the cost. It adds just the right amount of light to this front room and sets the relaxing ambiance I was looking for.
I think the next lighting fixture I’ll be adding is a Tiffany style floor lamp. That would really bring the room together once I get it all sorted out.
I’ve got lots of changes happening in my home in the next few weeks. My son is moving out and I’m getting rid of many of my older furniture pieces. So, stay tuned for more updates!
