French Provincial Vignette

I made a quick stop today to Merchant Square and fell in love with their new front entry vignette.  I’m not a big French Provincial style fan, but these chairs and dresser were wonderful!

The touch of vintage silver pieces was the perfect touch.  Now that I’m on the look out for tarnished silver pieces, it seems I’m seeing them everywhere.  But, I am a patient shopper and I have a couple of shops to check out before I make my purchases.

Love this tin and lamp too.  The dresser was the perfect french blue color and had a wonderful hand painted bouquet on top.
These matching chairs and ottomans are perfect for a bedroom or a cozy reading corner.  The pop of color with the pink throws really works here.
I’m still a Cottage Bungalow style lover but this French Provincial is really nice too.

I love French Provincial, especially the vintage pieces from the 1950s – so elegant and feminine. So glad I happened across your blog! — Jan

Didn’t think I was French Provincial, but love this! The tarnished silver set on top is fabulous too! Thanks for sharing it with SYC. Also want to say thanks for putting our Creating Christmas button on your sidebar.
