Grow Light Review

Living in an apartment with only north facing windows can make it difficult to grow plants and keep them healthy.  So, I recently bought a grow light for a shelving unit that needed some extra help.  Today I’m sharing my grow light review with you.

I had an Aloe Vera, a Ficus Bonsai and a succulent arrangement that needed some extra light for growth and to maintain their shape.  I had been looking online for grow lights when I was contacted by the distributor of this grow light and asked to give it a try.

It had everything I was looking for; compact size with ability to move around, can clamp onto a shelf, and easy to use.

When my plants started out they were pale and not growing at a good rate.  This aloe’s new shoots were very pale.

The Ficus Ginseng Bonsai was not giving new growth.

At first I fixed the light onto the shelving unit, but found the light was to upfront and should be on top.

The clamp can spread to 2.5″ so I was able to attach it to the counter above the shelf.

The light bars can be light individually or both and have 5 dimming levels.  It is a manual start light, but can be set for 3, 6 or 12 hours and then will shut off on it’s own.

I’ve created a video to give you a closer look at the growth my plants have obtained.

I hope you enjoyed this review and it was helpful for you.  If you’d like to see more videos like this please let me know in the comments.  Thanks as always for your support!

Blessings,
