I have been wanting to complete an online course for some time now. A course that would cover all of the basic skills a new or beginner plant parent would need to be successful with their plant care. This month I finally completed it and it’s available to you now.
I have long been a fan and subscriber of Skillshare online classes. I’ve learned so much to improve my camera skills in photography and filmography. This hummingbird picture is one I’m particularly proud of…
When I saw that they had a workshop for new Skillshare teachers, I decided to sign up and give it a try. I was so pleased to receive an email accepting me to the workshop and even more so when they asked me to submit a draft introduction video to be considered for personal one-on-one coaching!
Well, I submitted the video and was accepted for personal coaching. This was such an honor and I believed would give me a huge advantage in creating an awesome class.
With each lesson I filmed I was in touch with my coach Stephanie and she supplied continuous encouragement, advice and tips. This was much harder than I thought it would be. Over the course of 3 weeks I put together a 6 lesson class with an intro, outro video and a project for the students.
Below is the intro video to the class. I would love for you to view it and consider signing up for Skillshare so you can see the entire class. The class is a total of 51 minutes long, but it is the most comprehensive lesson and video I have ever done on plant care. There is nothing on my YouTube channel like it. To encourage you to try out Skillshare, I’m providing you with a link for a free 2-week trial premium membership. After the trial period, the membership is less than $10 per month.
I will be adding more classes to my Skillshare channel over the next few months. These will be different from the content I have on YouTube. So, give it a try with the free 2-week trial premium membership!
