Recently I finally purchased a Mono Printing Plate from Gelli Arts®. I’d seen so many wonderful creations by other artists on Facebook and You Tube, I knew I had to have one. And I have to tell you that I’m lovin’ mono printing!
I purchased the 8″ x 10″ gel plate, but they do also come in a 9″ x 12″, 6″ x 6″ and an 8″ round version. These are great to make many prints to use later in collaging, art journaling, ATC cards, or canvases.
It comes with instructions on how to care for your plate (something very important so it will last) and how to do a basic print. But, if you go to You tube and Gelli Arts® channel, you will find so many useful resources to keep you busy for a long time.
Here are some of the prints I came up with using my acrylic paints, stencils, bubble wrap and caps. I also printed directly onto a journal page.
So, I’ve started my “stash” of papers to use in the future and I’ll keep adding to it.
