“It’s Vintage Charm” sneak peek!

Last night I attended the sneak peak reception of a wonderful shop, It’s Vintage Charm.  The shop is located in historic Old Town Glendale and is a 1930’s brick bungalow.  So much charm to this shop and so many wonderful treasures.  I had a great time and met the other artisans that will be showcased in the shop.

Here I am (center) with Vicke and Debbie, the lovely ladies that own the shop.  They have worked so hard the last few weeks and been so accommodating to us artisans,  I’m really looking forward to working with them.

My soy candles in teacups were displayed in this lovely corner hutch.
Throughout the shop you can see the architectural details of the home.  From the wood floors to the builtin shelves.  It truly feels like walking into a 1930’s home, so welcoming.
Love, love this vanity!
Beautiful Jewelry!  So many unique pieces at incredibly affordable prices.
Here are some of my mixed media pieces showcased at the entrance.  As you can see there are so many other unique treasures to see.
One of the things I was amazed with was the display pieces.  From shutters to vanity mirrors were used to display jewelry, scarves and purses.
They also have a room just for rustic, primitive pieces.
Even the claw foot bathtub got a makeover and used as a display piece.
This dress form was perfect for these beautiful lace trimmed apron and scarf.
Some beautiful pieces from the first featured artisan of the shop, Terry Parvan of Winifred Street.  She is so talented and has a beautiful soul.  Check out her page via the link on my side bar.
This beautiful piece is designed by Shawn Petite.  Be on the lookout for her work in the Fall issue of Somerset Studio magazine.  Check her page out also via the link on my side bar.
Above the front counter are displayed the names of all the artisans on vintage silver platters that have chalkboard paint on them.  Here is mine displayed.  All of these platters are for sale and you can write your own message on them, or leave my name on it 🙂
This shop has the perfect name because it truly has Vintage Charm.  Please check out their facebook page and website for updates.
