This little woven basket is to hold wine bottles originally, it’s very unique and I’ve never seen one before. It now holds some fall berries and foliage.
This soft pumpkin is a Michael’s clearance find and the perfect size.
I wanted to add the unexpected, but items that look like they perfectly belonged. The ceramic pitcher is a planter and I thought the colors were just right.
This gourd pitcher was a Goodwill 50% off day find for only $2.00. The rest of the year it is displayed in my kitchen, but for the next couple of months it is here.
The small tealight holder is glass and has embroidered linen in the glass sides.
The twig and leaves garland was used last year in some of my craft shows and I updated it with a burlap ribbon twisted through it.
This is my favorite piece in the family room. Another Goodwill find (can you tell I spend a lot of time at Goodwill!) and I scored with a $8.00 purchase. It fills the awkward space above the entertainment unit and is very unique.
So, until I have a home with a real fireplace this is a wonderful alternative. I’ve actually thought about purchasing an electric fireplace in the meantime. One of the things I do in the winter is watch the cable channel that has the crackling fire scene that plays with Christmas music. I’ll have to share that with you soon.

How creative of you to decorate the top of your entertainment center for fall! I love the tealight holder with embroidered linen! It’s so pretty!
Oh it looks just like how you would decorate a mantle, it looks wonderful, love the beautiful colors and the welcoming feeling…love the tealight holder, it adds to the whole look…Phyllis
The plate you made – how awesome is that! Wish I had one just like it. I love the Goodwill gourd, too. What a score — both are perfect for fall/autumn/Thanksgiving.
I love it! I think the tea-light holder is my favorite, but everything else is a close second! I am visiting from Think Pink Sundays!
Thanks for visiting Tanya!
so pretty, love how you’ve stacked those great plates!
Thank you Debra!
Your plate flower is very pretty and makes a great centerpiece.

Thanks Sherry!
What a beautiful vignette. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
Thank you Marty for hosting!
I love your plate flower!! I have fun making these too and I’ve found I enjoy them indoors like you have just as much as outdoors! I’m lucky enough to have a mantle as we have a fireplace in the tropical state of Florida but we have been here two years and it hasn’t been cold enough to use it yet. The previous owners used it a lot as it is sooty, so I have hopes.
Thank you Jeannie for your visit. Hopefully this winter you’ll get your chance!
Carmen, I love the stacked plates and that gourd pitcher was a fabulous find! Your entertainment center works great for this beautiful display! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
