I’ve created an art journal page and tried to capture the many shades in this wonderful color with a garden scene of Purple Cone Flowers and a little purple birdie. And a message to always Count Your blessings.
I started off with a vintage music sheet that I had done a mono print on with my Gelli Print plate and added layers of with stencils and DecoArt Media Line fluid acrylics. I also used a couple of my favorite tools for backgrounds, a detergent cap and a small plastic tube. They make great circles with the acrylic paint.
I continued to create more background using Paper Wings Productions stamps of writing scripts, flowers and numbers.
I also created a You Tube video showing you some of my creative process.
Hope you enjoyed visiting with me today! Remember to leave a comment at all of the blogs and head over to The Aviary and let them know you completed the blog!
Now, I need to send you on your way to the next stop, you’ll be visiting Dana.
Just in case you get lost along the way, here is the complete blog hop list…
