Rustic Fall at “It’s Vintage Charm”

The weather is finally starting to cool off here in Phoenix, that means we’re in the low 90’s for a high, and the cool morning air gets me in the mood for Fall decorating and moving things around in the house.  Today I went to one of my favorite little shops.  It’s not just my favorite because I’m a vendor there, this little shop is truly wonderful and full of Charm.

This little shop is located in the historic district of Glendale, AZ. called Caitlin Court.  It is a 1930’s brick bungalow that the shop owners, Debbie and Vickie, have created an ambiance of classic romance, vintage inspiration, and endless charm.  Right now Fall is displayed through out the shop, especially at the front room entrance.  A sample of handcrafted work from each of the artisans that are a part of this shop.
These small burlap wreaths are so enchanting and can be placed just about anywhere.

Love the size of this ruffled burlap wreath. It would make a great statement on a door or wall.
I love the idea of a Harvest tree.  It makes a wonderful transition into Christmas.
A Boo Burlap Wreath ready for Halloween and the rest of the Fall season by simply removing the words.
Each room in the house is full of handcrafted, vintage and restored treasures.
Like I said, every room is used for display.  Even this wonderful claw foot bathtub.
This is my favorite furniture piece.  Very unique vanity and chest of drawers combintation.
More burlap!  Love these utensil holders and table runner!
Wonderful mixed media pieces by Terry Parvan  and Shawn Petite and myself, displayed in the built ins that have been decoupaged with music sheets.
So, if you’re in the metro Phoenix area, I encourage you to visit this amazing shop called
Stay tuned for more features in the future.
Blessings,

Ceekay, I think you will love it! They are having their a Grand Opening event on Friday 10/4, I believe it’s from 4 – 7 pm. I’m sure they’ll have great deals. If not then, you know how Glendale does Christmas with Glendale Glitters! They already have lights stringed up on the trees! Thanks for stopping by!

I love what you have created with burlap ! I saw some very interesting burlap at the fabric store yesterday but just could not bring myself to pay more for burlap than for the quilting fabric I needed, already pricey. I have a lot of old burlap stored away and think I need to bring it out and get creative ( using your examples ) .

I especially like the table linen ideas.

What a beautiful shop. I felt like I just walked through it. Love all of the fall creations. If I still lived in Phoenix, I would definitely visit it. However, I lived on the other side of town, but I would make a special trip.

Looks like such a fun place Carmen. It’s so nice that you can both shop and sell in the same place. lol! I have a vanity and dresser like that. I purchased it years ago from a friend for $50. We just used it for our sink and mirror in our basement bath. I love how it turned out! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
