I love going to Target and looking at some home décor accessories. Recently they debut a line by Hilton Carter showcasing live and faux plants and plant accessories. I also wanted to check out Joanna Gaines new line for Hearth and Hands. I was not disappointed!
If you saw my last post on my new dining room décor, you’ll know that I had a very dark corner that I wasn’t quite sure what to do with. I was considering a faux statement plant, something tall that will look good and I won’t worry about it dying in low light. They had a beautiful 6′ Ficus Elastica Burgundy tree that I thought would be a good fit.
It was $130 and a little more than I wanted to spend, so I decided to put it on the maybe list. I continued to look and found some smaller plants like this Philodendron Rojo Congo, that would work if I put them on a plant stand.
Terrariums are so popular right now. He had this tall terrarium that can also hold a plant below. Very cool!
Then I was off to look for the Hearth and Hand collection. I love Joanna Gaines, she has such great style! She has some incredible real looking plants. This Hoya Krimson Queen is so realistic, it looks better than my real one!
This beautiful wood stool would be perfect to hold a nice large plant and it would match my décor.
I did love this Ficus Audrey tree because it looked so real and you rarely find them in a faux edition.
Doesn’t this planter look like a real basket? Well, it’s actually concrete, so it can be placed outside and the weather won’t do any harm.
Lastly, I found the cutest little planter that had so many varieties to choose from. This head planter comes in different sizes and different skin tones.
I hope these suggestions give you some inspiration for planty home decor. I know I have a lot to think about, so I’m so glad they’re all available online at target.com
