Spring time seems to have arrived for parts of the country, definitely here in Arizona! And it’s inspired me to create some spray ink tags with some bright colors using some of my Ranger Spray Inks.
These tags are so quick and easy to make, but have the pigments in the Tim Holtz Spray inks and Dylusions Spray Inks have an incredible impact.
I first spritzed the #8 tags with some water and then the Wild Honey spray. Moving the ink around on the craft sheet gives the tag a marbled effect. Dry the tag with a heat gun to capture the look. I then used the Black Orchid stencil from the ArtistCellar Kaleidoscope set with Peacock Feathers ink. Lift the stencil carefully and dry with the heat gun.
On this tag I used Raspberry spray in as the base, Dylusions White Linen spray ink with the Balzer Designs Aboriginal stencil.
On each tag I applied StazOn black ink with the pocket stencils from ArtistCellar.
I make tags like this on a regular basis, I use them as extra gifts whenever I sell a journal from my shop. They make great book markers or gift tags.
I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial and it inspires you to create something today!
Blessings,
I had never heard of spray inks until now. These tags are super cute. I am a big into gift giving and making my presents look ‘perfect’ so these would be fun to make with my little girl and then use at Christmas time!
Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty! I hope to see you there next Friday with another awesome post! 🙂
Awesome tags, Carmen. I love the dylusion spray inks as well. Spring has not arrived here yet but I am hoping it will soon.
