On to week #2 of the Summer of Color challenge! I think we’re in for some vibrant color combinations this year and it’s going to make for lots of creativity. If you missed my post from last week, you can check it out here.
This week’s colors are 1 pink + 1 pink + 1 orange.
I used a combination of watercolor crayons, ink sprays and acrylic paint in my altered book art journal. The pattern in the background was created with spray ink and The Crafters Workshop stencil Rock Crystals TCW 522. The word Create is a pocket stencil from ArtistCellar, Creative Words, I mixed some modeling paste and acrylic paint to use.
I’m linking this post up to our host’s site over at Twinkle, Twinkle Like a Star. Stop on over and check out all of the other creations.
Thanks as always for visiting!

The texture of the paste and the effect of the stencil, combined with that paint, made for a lovely painting and beautiful lady.
