Valentine Card Challenge

Hi Friends!  Today I’m sharing with you a sweet and simple Valentine card I made for a dear lady that is my pen pal.  She is a member of my parents church and she has been sending me cards and letters since I was in treatment.  We’ve kept this up since.  I used Canvas Corps Kraft card, 7Gypsies Under the Cover Gypsy Moments paper, Blue Burlap Sheet, and stamped the sentiment Love Never Fails.

My Breaking Heart Valentine Card

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, are you ready?  I love getting cards or presents that are handmade and thoughtful.  I remember when my children were small and they would make Valentine’s cards at school.  They were more precious to me than any Hallmark card.  I’ve created for you this week a card that hopefully will have that handmade and thoughtful feel.

September Challenge at Paper Wings Productions

The September challenge at  Paper Wings Productions is using fibers, ribbon or twine.  So much to create with those choices!  I’ve created this wonderful card using items from the September Nesting Components Mixed Media Kit from Paper Wings and some lace trim I had in my stash.  The challenge will go live September 4th, so you have time to get creative with some fibers, ribbon or twine and link up your project.

Hand Drawn Greeting Cards

One of the most relaxing things I can do at night is doodle flowers and patterns in my journal.  But, I also will do 2-3 hand drawn greeting cards in a sitting and create a one of a kind cards.  I love getting cards in the mail with a personal message inside, it’s something that should really be done more often.
