Stencil Bump Technique Tag

Have you heard of the stencil bump technique?  It’s not the 1970’s dance that was so popular, but it is a great way to add depth and dimension to your artwork using just about any stencil.  Today I’m sharing on The Crafter’s Workshop blog how I created this wonderful tag.

This is a great tag to use a gift tag for a graduate, birthday or confirmation.  They can keep it then to use as a book marker.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy technique.  Let me know if you give it a try and how you liked it.  Remember to check back often for more creative inspiration.

Steam Punk Mixed Media Tags

Mardi Gras Tags

Hi friends!  Today I’m sharing with you some Mardi Gras inspired tags.  I thought I should change it up a little bit from all the hearts and Valentine’s art.  This year Fat Tuesday falls on February 17th, and if you’ve ever been to New Orleans during Mardi Gras, you know how colorful it can be.  I tried to capture those colors in these tags that can be used for presents, book markers or simply collecting.

I’ve been watching a lot of his tutorials on layering with stencils, paint and ink.  He makes it look so easy!  But, I’m happy with how these are looking so far. With each order I ship I send one of these tags as a little something extra.  They can be used as gift tags, book markers or for art journaling.

Thanks so much for visiting on this #WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday).
