This year I went with a red and white theme on my Christmas tablescape. I have a small vintage milk glass collection displayed in my breakfast nook, but it was just enough items to create a lovely display on my dining room table.
To create a runner I folded a red tablecloth I had. It’s a round shape, so it was a bit awkward, but it still works. One of my prize possessions is a tea set a friend of mine gave me years ago when he went to Iran. It’s really vibrant in color and intricate in detail. Here I just displayed the creamer, sugar bowl and plate. My red glass lantern stayed from my last display and took the center of the table this time.
These decoupaged small pumpkins were from last season and they are a perfect fit.
I know a salt and pepper shaker aren’t normally in a tablescape, but I just love these little guys! The cup in the background has a soy candle I poured with the scent of Lavender.
One of the teacups is a soy candle that sits on a milk glass candle holder. The angel is white porcelain and was a Christmas gift a few years ago.
I took some red ornaments and placed them in some of the milk glass bowls and added some lace doilies.
All of the items I used were taken from different parts in my house and were all items I already had. I love the vintage look of it and the fact that I didn’t have to buy anything new!
I hope you enjoyed this and feel inspired to create your own tablescape.

Carmen, your milk glass tablescape is beautiful. It is always good when you can shop your home and not buy anything. It makes the new vignette so much more enjoyable.
