ATC – Artisan Trading Cards, I had seen and heard of them for a while, but had not tried them yet. This past weekend I made my first set of cards and of course I chose to make them in a vintage inspired style.
ATC’s are small (2.5″ x 3.5″) little works of art that you can make with just about any medium, ephemera or embellishments. You can buy pre-cut and sized cards in a heavy card stock, but I wanted to try and use supplies I already had in stock. I had some small card board inserts from stationary orders I received, so I cut those down to size. I pulled out some printables, gelli prints and laces I had in my stash and went to work.
I used DecoArt DecouPage to adhere and seal my papers to the card.
I also painted the back of the cards and sides with acrylic paint to give it a finished look. The trims and embellishments were adhered with tacky glue.
The lace trims I purchased from Tresors Deluxe on Etsy. I love their laces!
