Vintage Storage for the Studio

Recently I’ve seen some really inspiring studio storage on Pinterest.  I’m wanting to bring more vintage items and  storage into my studio, not only for the look, but I’m a true believer of re-use, re-purpose and re-cycle.

These bright vintage tins are wonderful for holding brushes, pens, and scissors.
Do you have a lot of glitter?  These salt and pepper shakers are a great way to store and use them.  Just grab and shake onto your project.

Paints can easily be stored in wooden crates or thimble display cases.
Old cigar boxes with labels are perfect for trinkets and knick knacks.
A bit tattered Cosco chair/step ladder works for seating and for reaching high places.
Ceramic vases in vibrant colors and your favorite collectibles add storage and a personal touch.
These are just a few examples that really spoke to me.  There are so many things you can use and incorporate your own style into your creative space.  Take a look at some more ideas on my Pinterest board Creative Spaces.  Do you have something vintage in your studio or craft room that you use for storage?
Thanks as always for visiting!
Blessings,

I do like the look of a lot of these vintage tins and boxes, but I simply don’t ever seem to find such treasures. I do use a few family “heirlooms” to hold things in my craft room, but what I tend to use most are jars — some new but a lot of them are recycled. I do always keep my eyes peeled for pretty pottery to use in my room. Thanks so much for sharing!
